Next Time. A note written on my forehead. Fragile. Handle with Care

Intercontinental Hotels Group never fail to make each and every employee feel appreciated. We have different task force who actively conducts program and activities which encourage every employee to participate and get involve. One of the task force is MITF.

Motivation and Incentive Task Force presented the Top 100 Mind-share Idols from each department last April 18. The list includes the top 100 mind-share achievers from January 1- March 31, 2013.

Each agent gets an opportunity to have a free 30 minute body massage in the Jeepney lounge.  And as the task force says "This is our way of saying  THANK YOU for consistently delivering a positive guest experience to our members."

And fortunately, I was among the top 100 agent. Yey!!! Hoooraaay! (can you believe that!)
Where else can you get such benefit? Where else can you feel your value as an employee? Only in IHG! :D
The Top 100 Mindshare Idols
The invites for each agent's schedule was sent via email. And yesterday I got to experience my own.

I do not know if it was me, my thin body or if the lady was giving me a massage so hard.  I am not sure if that is normal.

I was lying on the bed with that massage table face (you know the hole on the bed where you lie your  face while having a back massage! haha). If you could only see me, I was making all the silly faces I could do. (funny me) There's just too much pressure I guess. I almost sank down on the bed. I was like "ate, papatayin mo ba ako?" haha. But of course that is the Over Acting Me thinking.

Anyway, I just let the lady massage my back which according to her has so many "lamig?" haha. And who am I to complain, that's free. I am not taking any amount from my pocket. Maybe, I should just have requested a lighter massage. My back totally hurts right now.
And before I enter the lounge, I should have worn a warning sign on my forehead that read "Fragile. Handle With Care."
          Well, Lesson learned...

PS:
after the 30 minute session, we were given an oatmeal cookie, drinks, an ID Badge with I am an MSHARE IDOL printed in it and a certificate.
thank you IHG. Thank you MITF
