I can not understand why people keep on blaming the government for all their troubles in life.

I was watching television during the weekends. I just noticed that the media, particularly the cold media has been more vigilant in presenting shows that are more informative and has brought the bridge between the public and the government. To site examples, you may take note of ABS-CBN's Ako ang Simula, Boto mo Ipatrol mo, BAYAN MO IPATROL MO: TAYO NA plus GMA'S DAPAT TAMA and a whole bunch of other shows.
Other than these programs which involve the common people, the media has been actively producing shows for this upcoming election. To name one (which I have partly watched) is HARAPAN 2013 featured on the 21st of April.
12 Senatorial candidates where invited for a live debate. Each candidate is given a specific time to answer questions and voice out their stand on an issue.

And like what I have mentioned, I was only able to watched part of the show. Forgive my sleepiness. (insert silly face)
So let me just share one of the issues that caught my attention. But please note that I am not answering the senatorial way, (can never. haha)
*Divorce Bill
I have to asked myself several times whether i would or not agree with the legalization of Divorce bill. Very sensitive issue, right? And to be honest, I do not where I would stand on this matter.
I was born and raised by a conservative family who believe in the unity and bond of each members. I would always agree with the teaching that what God has joined together, man must not separate" I have always prayed that our family specially my parents, no matter what the difficulties are would stick together. With that clearly said, you may think that I would firmly stand on the side of " NO TO DIVORCE"
However, at the back of my mind, "YES, WHY NOT" whispers. I am reminded of the news, videos and stories I have seen and heard about battered wives. Is there still a way of fixing a broken bond between husband and wife. What if trying to make things better only make it worse. What if sticking together only make them fall apart. What if it causes more pain, more suffering on both parties and the entire family? (oh, damn, what if's!!!)
Pardon me. But on this issue, I do not have my bones to make a final stand.
