Just smile...

أشعر أنه سيكون من الأسهل أن نتظاهر بأن كل شيء يسير على ما يرام من ليشرح لماذا لم يتم ذلك.

Illusions

I was browsing random photos online when I found Reader's Digest's page Cool Optical Illusions That Make You Look Twice. So here, I posted a sample picture of optical illusion.

At a very quick look, the only odd thing that I noticed was the pair of shoes. And I was definitely wrong. It was only when I saw the 2nd photo that I realized what the illusion was.

What is it?

And there you go. A man was actually hiding in the photo. Great! Isn't it!

... a man, hiding in plain sight.

Hint: The shoes are the giveaway. Chinese artist Liu Bolin camouflaged himself for a series of photos called Hiding in the City. They're metaphors for government suppression of art, he says. Other scenes he's painted himself into include the rubble of earthquakes in the countryside and a wall with text from The Communist Manifesto scrawled on it.

Just a thought: So maybe what you see is not always what it seems to be.

Someday

My heart is still on the path of uncertainty. I do not know what exactly I want. But after some walk, I think I found some direction. I may not be 100% certain of what I really want but now I am seeing a bit of light.
To be with people. To interact with them. To be surrounded with them. This is what I want.

I know it won't be easy searching out the exact field I wanna be. So I will enjoy the walk, take my time and believe that someday I will surprisingly get there.

Note: photo taken from the web. just did some partial editing...

Ang gusto ko lamang...

During an interview, there is always one question that keeps me nervous. It is not the "what is your weakness"-question. I have my prepared answer for that. Ha Ha! But instead, my mind always went blank with the question-"What is your dream?"

Funny? No. I'm serious. I know you might find it kind of weird. You may say that even grade school students at a very young age already have their dreams. And that just makes me envious.

Maybe as years added to my age, some things had been parked. I don't specifically know which field to take. Looking back, I know I have wanted to become an astronaut, astronomer, a doctor, a teacher, a coffee shop owner, a ballerina, musician and even a painter (all of which I don't have the talent! haha. Oh life!) But all of these remained just at the back of my mind. Something that I am happy just to think of  even with out reaching them.

And then, I realized...

Basta ang gusto ko lang naman ay maging masaya. Yun talaga ang pangarap ko. Masama ba?

Wrong Choices. Bad Descisions. Finding Reasons to Move On. Searching Ways to be Happy

someday...

I do not know how to put into words what I am feeling right now. I do not know how to start. Just by reading the title, it is very obvious my heart is on its dramatic mode.

As I look back to what and where I have been, I realized I have made so many mistakes. One may say it is fine. I may fool myself that it is okay, that everybody makes mistakes. But then, there always comes a point when regret knocks. And when I open that door, I find so many what if's standing in front of me. Siguro nga may mga moments lang talagang masasabi mo na lang..." sayang..."

Dance to the Beat

It is 3:12 am here in Dubai and my eyes won't yet go to sleep.
so allow me to share this video of the Dancing Fountain taken at the balcony of Friday's in Dubai Mall.
This was recorded last Tuesday, 3rd of June.
I was stunned when I saw this dancing fountain show.
My first thought? How I wish we have something like this in the Philippines!
The lights plus the sway of the fountain and the water splashing with the beat of music kept me in awe.
I am not certain what time the show started but it is done after every 30 minutes.

NXT Page: Dubai, U.A.E

Been so long since my fingers had written thoughts for this blog. A lot of things had already happened. So first thing first. This blog I am writing is now being written all the way from Dubai. This is my second day on the new environment.  I know there are so many things I could write about now. I could write about how this all started. I can tell you about the entire experience of my travel. I can share about this and that. But honestly, I can not find the urge to write much. I am too lazy to put everything into words and tell each and every detail. So allow me to share some photos instead. Maybe, the best way to tell the story is thru the pictures. So, without further do, here is my photo explosion.

Pardon  the quality of the shots. :)

I was already at the boarding gate an hour before my flight.  Gate 7. Cathai Pacific. Flight at 7:55pm. Destination: Philippines to Hong Kong

a shot taken  thru the plane's window. Pardon the low quality camera and lighting.
Hong Kong International Airport-way better than ours! hehe
Hongkong. Waiting. Gate 25. Flight: 1:40am. Hong Kong to Dubai

While waiting in Hong Kong, I've got to browse some page. And have not yet flipped any page since I arrived in Dubai

My very good friend, Rein fetch me at Dubai International airport.
With Rein who gave me a treat of coffee!

With ate vhec who picked me up from the airport.

With Rein.
With ate Vhec. picture before going home.
This is a mosque just beside our house.
this is the view that I saw and will see every morning when I wake up.

2nd day in Dubai. Corporate for a walk in interview.
I must say that the structures of most building in Dubai really fascinate me.
Walking home

another random shot

goin totally random
Metro
Unlike MRT/LRT, the Metro is more convenient. There's a lot of space to move around and take your seat.
My first time to ride the Metro. Metro is like the MRT in the Phili. But I must say, Metro is another of the ''way better than the Philippines"
First time sa Metro

Metro is really spacious not like what Ive been used to MRT/LRT

Walking inside the Metro station

Philippines should adopt the idea of having glass barrier between the flat form and the rail to avoid accidents.

this is the glass door that opens only when the train had stopped.

Marry Brown for late lunch
random shot while walking home
Home Bound

And that's it for now... let's see what will be included on my next photo explosion.
Time Check: 9:32pm
